Welcome to my blog. This is where I post random thoughts about stuff I’m interested in. This broadly fits into 2 categories: technology(gadgets) and woodwork. I am a software engineer by profession and a (very) amateur carpenter and more recently woodturner. I work for IBM, however my thoughts and posts are purely my own, and should not be mistaken for any kind of official position. Likewise I am not a professional woodworker/turner, I have no training and anything I post about having tried is not intended to suggest that it is a good or sensible approach. It’s just stuff I’ve done. If anyone wants to post thoughts/comments on either please feel free.
